Out of all the friends I have I have one that I am super proud of. She does anything she can to help save lives. She donates blood every chance she gets I guarantee she would donate blood everyday if she could. She is an organ donor as well so if something ever happens to her, her organs can go to people that need them and tomorrow she is going to register to be a bone marrow donor. A lot of people have told her that it hurts to donate marrow. She simply smiles and tells them that the opportunity to help save a life will outdo the pain. I hope she’s right but I do know if the day ever comes and she is chosen to donate marrow to someone in need I will be right there with her to keep her company and make her smile. Just like I always do. I’ll always be proud to have her as my friend even though she does like trying to get me into trouble every now and then I couldn’t ask for a better friend.





One pint of blood can save up to three lives. Marrow as well as blood can help save the lives of sons, daughter, mothers, father, friends, loved ones etc. Life is one of the most valuable things to people and life takes on a whole new meaning when someone is dying. Hope becomes a very big part of that person’s life. Hope that there is someone out there that can help. So I please ask that you to give hope to others if you can by becoming a donor of some sort. Be the hope that some many people are wishing for. So after typing this and asking others to be donors if they can…. I have also made up my mind. Tomorrow I will go with my friend and register to be a bone marrow donor as well and then I get to go donate blood from there. Any who to all that read this please consider becoming a donor if you’re not already be the light at the end of a long dark tunnel for people that are reaching for the light of hope.
